A very blustery day and rough seas with occasional drenchings from passing cloudbursts at Muriwai, no traditional board surfers but plenty of Kite Boards.

Most times I go out to Muriwai there are tourists and often wedding couples having their photos taken on the big wave cut platform at the southern end of Muriwai Beach. Sometimes I catch them letting their hair down :)
